Hi there! I graduated from Viterbo University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. What I enjoy most about what I do is working with all individuals who come from different backgrounds. For this reason my approach is person-centered and believe that each individual already has the skills within to write their own story. I am a bilingual clinician and can provide counseling services in Spanish if needed. My expertise is in providing counseling services to adolescents, adults, correctional clients, family, and couples. My work is grounded from a trauma informed orientation, existential work, person-centered perspective, and multicultural levels. In my practice, I use evidenced-based approaches like gestalt, reality and choice, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and art therapy.
During my free time I enjoy reading historical fiction and psychology books. I feel most connected to myself and my surroundings when I am out in nature taking walks or going on hikes. One of my favorite quotes is “this too shall pass”. With this in mind, I believe that life transitions challenge us but also helps us reinvent ourselves to our divine self. If I have extra time to engage in my hobbies I also do tarot readings to guide others.
