Lauren works with families, individuals and couples to help them manage a variety of issues such as depression and anxiety, confidence building, career hurdles and any variety of transitional issues. She also enjoys helping her clients increase their overall satisfaction in their relationships by teaching them new ways to improve their ability to effectively communicate, because relationships can be complicated. Lauren brings her sense of humor, passion for life and professionalism to all aspects of her work.
Lauren provides a tailored therapeutic approach for each couple or individual. This eclectic approach incorporates many methods such as Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative, CBT as well as frequently integrating Gottman tools and research. As a systems therapist, Lauren also works with her clients to show them how our relationships and the community we live in uniquely affects us.
Training and Experience
Lauren is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Behavioral Sciences and Law and her Master of Science Degree from Edgewood College. She has worked for both community mental health agencies and private practice clinics since her graduation in 2010. She has completed several Gottman trainings, including:
