Life is a puzzle we are working to complete without knowing what the final picture will look like. This process comes with excitement, fear, joy, overwhelm, surprise and disappointment. With each moment, we learn and grow, using our experiences as a guide to where we will place the next piece. In my office, I support people from all walks of life as they decide how to arrange their puzzle. Together we can address life changes such as growing up, dating/marriage, births, moves, retirement and everything in between or beyond. We can also work to alleviate symptoms from mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety and trauma.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an undergraduate degree from UW-LaCrosse and a graduate degree from Edgewood College. I have experience working with individuals across the life span, couples, parents, and families. I am a sex positive, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist as well as kink and poly friendly. I welcome individuals to bring their culture, beliefs and backgrounds into my office and recognize these as the connections from which we are molded. I use a systemic perspective in therapy and offer support through multiple approaches included by not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
