Day to day life can be difficult, and with the added stress of a world-wide pandemic, political tensions, and unpredictable futures for the rights of women, LGBTQIA, and BIPOC populations, counseling can be an integral part of one’s self-care journey. Through collaboration with the client, I utilize an integrative and evidence based approach to fit the individual’s situation and resources. I believe in creating an open and trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore their potential as the experts of their own story through my guidance. I have a holistic, but realistic, trauma-informed and person-centered perspective when working together to find the best form of treatment. My areas of interest include anxiety, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergency, transitions to college, LGBTQIA+ issues, and trauma-related disorders. An important aspect of therapy is to not only meet you where you’re at, but to also provide support and instill confidence that promotes the growth I know you’re capable of!
