I am a post-graduate intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. I have a deep desire to walk with people on their journey towards healing and flourishing and I strive to meet every person wherever they are on that journey. I operate from the belief that every single person is fundamentally good and I desire to help each person understand, embrace, and live out the good in themselves.
I primarily work with adults and teens 14+, and while I adjust my approach to meet each individual’s needs, I pull from multiple modalities. These include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing theory (EMDR). My areas of interest and experience include depression, anxiety, complex trauma, grief, life transitions, parenting, perinatal and postpartum care, family and relationship difficulties, and forgiveness. I am also comfortable counseling through a spiritual or faith-based perspective when it fits my clients needs. Outside of counseling, you can find me in nature, baking sourdough, playing piano, or horseback riding!
